All the dogs i have met get always excited being outdoors, well dogs enjoy walking.
A dog for sure can make your trip more astonishing and enjoyabale, and motivate you to get certain places. it is absolutely lovely seeing your dog hitting the trails with you, but there is some tips you need to know before you go hiking with your dog.

it undebatable that dogs love being outside but being a responsible dog owener is highly essential, that's why before going out be sure you already have what the dog needs.
always go prepared, whatever you take for yourself, have it for your dog, along with basics, a collapsible bowl, waste bags, the disposable booties. Along with treats, also pack dog food, when packing food for yourself, be mindful to not bring items your dog cannot eat. Never know if you may be delayed for any reason... Flat tire, dead battery. always check online if it's a dog friendly trail. Some trails, dogs are not permitted, which is extremely sad. And if you are traveling out of town, always check for a couple different hotels and dog friendly eating places.
